  • PCSO – Police Community Support Officer
  • PCT - Primary Care Trust
  • Primary Care - Services provided by family doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives, health visitors, pharmacists, optometrists and opthalmic medical practitioners.
  • RBA – Results Based Accountability
  • Respite Care - Care provided by a day or residential centre or by a family as much for the benefit of the carers as for the person concerned.

  • Umbrella Organisation - An organisation whose role it is to support Voluntary and Community Sector Organisations.
  • UN – United Nations
