Roh Alice in Wonderland on the Big Screen
FOLLOW ALICE DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE IN CHRISTOPHER WHEELDON’S EXUBERANT BALLET, INSPIRED BY LEWIS CARROLL’S MUCH-LOVED BOOK APPROXIMATE RUNNING TIME: 2 HOURS 50 MINUTES, INCLUDING TWO INTERVALS CHOREOGRAPHY CHRISTOPHER WHEELDON MUSIC JOBY TALBOT Alice encounters a cast of extraordinary and instantly recognizable characters, from the highly strung Queen of Hearts – who performs a hilarious send-up of The Sleeping Beauty's famous Rose Adage – to a playing-card corps de ballet, a sinuous caterpillar and a tap-dancing Mad Hatter. But the ballet does not avoid the darker undercurrents of Lewis Carroll’s story: a nightmarish kitchen, an eerily disembodied Cheshire Cat and the unhinged tea party are all here in vivid detail. The delicious result shows The Royal Ballet at its best, bringing together world-class dance with enchanting family entertainment

Jethro - the Bull and Bonker%27s Tour
Every once in a while there comes along a true comedy genius, someone who rapidly gains cult status with the British public. Such is the case with Jethro! Armed with nothing more than a microphone and delivered to you in a warm Cornish accent, Jethro has the rare ability to paint hilarious pictures in the mind of his audience. Over 4 million DVD sales pay testimony to the size and dedication of his army of followers, and their love of the unpredictable, irreverent twaddle that reduces his audience to tears of laughter night after unforgettable night.
